Plumber in Aberdare and the Cynon Valley

I’m Greg Probert. We cover all aspects of plumbing work — from taking out an old bathroom suite and fitting the new one, down to a tap that has dripped for two years. If water runs through it, I can do it.

What has gone wrong?

What I do

  • Bathroom installation

The removal of an old bathroom suite and the installation of the new one — bath, basin, toilet, shower, and the pipework behind them.

  • Showers and wet rooms

Shower installation, shower valves, hoses and bars, and the plumbing behind a wet room.

  • Accessible bathrooms

Bathrooms adapted for getting in and out safely — a level-access shower in place of a bath, grab rails, a fold-down seat and slip-resistant flooring.

  • Geberit AquaClean shower toilets

A toilet that washes and dries — supplied and fitted, including the wall-hung frame and the concealed cistern behind it.

  • Leaks and burst pipes

Leaking and burst pipes, and the slow leaks that show up as a stain on a ceiling rather than a puddle on a floor.

  • Radiators and pipe work

Radiators taken off, swapped and refitted, valves replaced, and the copper pipework that feeds them.

  • Kitchen plumbing

Sinks and taps, waste and overflow, and plumbing in a washing machine or dishwasher.

  • Hot water and water systems

Hot water plumbing, cylinders and tanks, overflows, and the cold water system that feeds the house.

  • A white vanity unit with a basin set into it, beside a traditional chrome and white towel radiator, against white wave-patterned tiles.
  • A corner bath with a glass shower screen and a wall-mounted shower, against beige tiling.
  • A level-access shower with half-height doors, a shower curtain on a rail, a thermostatic bar mixer, a wall-mounted fold-down seat, and a straight and an angled grab rail.

More about each of these

No job too small

Most people who ring about a little job start by apologising for how small it is. Nobody needs to. A job that takes half an hour is a job I can fit in, and the thing you have lived with since you moved in is usually a part worth a few pounds.

And if you have three little things rather than one — even better. I am coming out anyway.
